Hidden Glen offers a beautiful, scenic, peaceful and stress free holiday, with the option of a wide variety of activities and visitor attractions all within a few miles drive for the more adventurous and energetic.
The lodges are homely, with everything you could possibly require for your stay. They are clean, insulated and well maintained.
It is a lovely opportunity to see nature at its best with my favourite moments being the visits from the red squirrels, feeding on the balcony unaware that they are being photographed and filmed.
Peter and Therese make it a special holiday destination and is our little piece of heaven on earth.

Hidden Glen is the perfect place for a relaxing country holiday for all the family. The scenery and wildlife are amazing and there are lots of opportunies for children (and adults!) to help out on the croft. Especially popular with our children are the cows and collecting the eggs from the hens. The trampoline is great fun and, less energetic, are the walks around the glen. There always seems to be something new to do or a new place to explore.
The lodges are a home from home, with everything you could need for your holiday (and a few extras). Always spotlessly clean, it’s easy to settle into the relaxed environment and allow the children to enjoy their newfound freedom.
Peter, Therese and their extended family always make us feel very welcome and, after more than 10 visits, we’re always delighted to be back to our “second home”.
Laikenbuie has been our second home for many years; after our first visit we became hooked and have returned for our annual fix ever since. The children have grown up now but still love the place. It is a special place full of friendship and peace (well most of the time!) and Therese and Peter are welcoming hosts. If you want to get back in touch with the things that really matter in life then this is the place for you.
